501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization
An independent nonprofit watchdog for a rapidly evolving industry.
The Peptide Institute is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing transparency, accountability and reliable information to the peptide, GLP-1 and human-performance space. We test products, evaluate companies, analyze the research and publish what we find — funded by readers, never by the companies we cover.
Our three functions
Watchdog
Independent testing, company monitoring and consumer reports to hold the industry to a higher standard.
Research
We analyze scientific literature, clinical data and emerging compounds to separate signal from hype.
Publication
Timely news, investigative reporting and education to keep the public informed and empowered.
What we do
Independent testing
Anonymous purchases, chain-of-custody handling, accredited laboratories, full published documentation.
Index Score™
A transparent, versioned 0–100 evaluation across seven weighted dimensions. Never pay-to-play.
Research coverage
Study summaries and evidence grading written for readers, not for search engines.
Community intelligence
A moderated, evidence-first forum and a verified consumer-report pipeline.
Editorial standards
Facts get sources. Evidence levels get named. Anecdote and research stay visually and structurally separate. Corrections are published, and failed tests follow a fixed protocol with confirmation, notice, and a dispute window. Our funding comes from readers and services — never from covered companies. The full policy lives on the methodology page.
What we are not
We are not a store, and we do not sell or recommend the purchase of any compound. We are not a medical resource: nothing on this site is medical advice, and research compounds discussed here are not approved for human use unless explicitly noted. We are not an affiliate site: no link on The Peptide Institute earns us a commission from a covered company.
