This got away from me a bit. Skip to the bottom for the short version.
Ordered from Verity Research Chemicals twice now. First one was fine, second one took three weeks and nobody answered my emails until I opened a card dispute.
Trying to work out if what happened to me with Verity Research Chemicals was a one-off or a pattern.
Verity Research Chemicals came up in another thread and I realised I had no idea whether my experience with them was normal or not.
For what it’s worth the Institute has an Index Score of 90 for them, which is where I started.
The part I keep getting stuck on is that everyone’s confident and nobody agrees, which usually means the evidence is thinner than the discussion.
TL;DR: Verity Research Chemicals might be fine, might not, and the way to tell apart seems to be documentation rather than price. Would appreciate other perspectives.

For anyone arriving from search: the compound reference page has the evidence grading, and the testing tab has the actual results. Two different things, easy to conflate.
