Anyone tracked bloodwork before and after Thymulin?

Started by AssayJournal Moderator · · 160 replies · 17,354 views

Someone talk me out of this.

I’m not a scientist. I can read an abstract and roughly follow it but that’s about my limit with Thymulin.

Half of what’s written about Thymulin online is copied from the same three forum posts from 2019. I can’t find an original source for most of it.

Anyway. Flame away.

Worth clarifying since it comes up a lot: a company's score moves when new results come in, not on a schedule. The score history on each profile shows every change.

Been saying this for years.

Worth adding that this only holds for lyophilised product.

The specimen reports link out to the full lab document, including the method and the lot number. Took me a while to notice they were clickable.

Source though?

Correct, and the same applies to the quantity assay.

Reversed-phase HPLC with UV detection at 214nm is the standard here because the peptide bond absorbs there. If a vendor reports purity without stating the method or wavelength, the number is not comparable to anything.

That is the distinction I was trying to make, said better.

If you want to check this yourself, ask the vendor which laboratory issued the certificate, then email that laboratory with the report number. Most will confirm or deny. The ones that go quiet tell you something.

Fair.

That is a better argument than the one above it.

Reading this and realising I have been doing it wrong, so thanks I guess.
