Does the rodent data on GHRP-2 translate at all?

Started by PeptideWatcher · · 9 replies · 1,329 views

This happened to me last month and I still don’t totally know what to make of it.

Every vendor page for GHRP-2 says basically the same thing in the same order, which makes me think none of them wrote it.

So I’ve been reading about GHRP-2 for a few weeks now and the more I read the less confident I am that anyone actually knows what they’re talking about.

For what it’s worth the Institute has 4 published tests on GHRP-2, which is where I started.

Thanks in advance, this community is usually pretty good about this stuff.

Respectfully I think you are reading more into that result than it supports.

Answered your second question in a DM since it was getting long, but short version is yes with caveats.

This is the correct take.

Who funded the study though. That is usually the first thing worth checking and almost nobody does.

Mass spec gives you molecular weight, which confirms identity but says nothing about whether the sequence is correct. Two different peptides can share a mass.

That is a better argument than the one above it.
