Might be overthinking this. Half of what’s written about KPV online is copied from the same three forum posts from 2019. I can’t find an original source for most of it.
Does the rodent data on KPV translate at all?

The figure everyone quotes traces back to a single 2019 paper with n=8. It gets cited as though it were established and it is really not.
