Why does every GHK-Cu vendor claim exactly 99% purity?

Searched first, found bits of this scattered across old threads, so figured I’d start a proper one.

Half of what’s written about GHK-Cu online is copied from the same three forum posts from 2019. I can’t find an original source for most of it.

What bugs me about GHK-Cu is how confident everyone is. Nobody hedges. Everyone has a protocol.

Worth noting there’s 4 published tests on GHK-Cu published, which is more than I expected honestly.

Will update this post if I learn anything useful.

If you want to check this yourself, ask the vendor which laboratory issued the certificate, then email that laboratory with the report number. Most will confirm or deny. The ones that go quiet tell you something.

Yep. Nothing new under the sun.

Mass spec gives you molecular weight, which confirms identity but says nothing about whether the sequence is correct. Two different peptides can share a mass.

If your solution went cloudy after reconstitution that is usually either the diluent or the temperature it was stored at. Worth posting what you used.
