Vector Peptide Supply Retatrutide: content discrepancy in PI-LAB-2025-108

Vector Peptide Supply's Retatrutide came back with a discrepancy, specimen PI-LAB-2025-108 if you want to look at it yourself.

Purity was actually fine at 97.3%. The problem is the amount, 4.94mg measured against 5mg on the label. Which is the kind of thing a purity-only COA sails straight past.

Has anyone else bought from this lot? Trying to work out if it's just this batch or something broader.

Worth separating two things here. Purity tells you what fraction of the material is the target compound. Identity tells you whether the target compound is what the label says. A product can pass one and fail the other, and they are different assays.

That is the distinction I was trying to make, said better.

Bumping.

Mass spec gives you molecular weight, which confirms identity but says nothing about whether the sequence is correct. Two different peptides can share a mass.

Worth clarifying since it comes up a lot: a company's score moves when new results come in, not on a schedule. The score history on each profile shows every change.

Watched three vendors rebrand under new names after bad results. Check domain registration dates.

Still not convinced but I take the point.

Happy to dig up the link if you want it.

Genuinely asking, not being difficult: what is the actual source for that? Everyone repeats it and nobody links anything.

tbh half the vendor sites look like they were built by the same guy
