Every Peptide Institute test begins with an anonymous retail purchase — standard checkout, unaffiliated shipping address, no company contact. Samples are photographed and logged on arrival, assigned a specimen ID, and shipped under seal to one of our partner laboratories.
We work with three independent analytical laboratories, rotating assignments so no company’s products are always tested at the same facility. Standard workup includes RP-HPLC purity, mass-spectrometry identity confirmation, and — for products with quantity claims — quantitative amino acid analysis.
A failed result is never published from a single sample. We purchase a second sample from a different lot and send it to a different laboratory; only a confirmed failure is published, alongside both full reports.
Results feed the Testing & Quality dimension of the Index Score automatically, with confirmed failures triggering an editorial review of the company’s entire profile. Companies may dispute results; disputes and their outcomes are published on the relevant report pages.
