Overview

The only human cathelicidin, studied for antimicrobial activity, wound healing and immune signalling.

LL-37 is classified as an antimicrobial host-defence peptide. Its current development status is: preclinical. Most of the evidence is preclinical. Human data is early, small, or absent for the uses commonly discussed.

The Peptide Institute tracks LL-37 because it is actively sold through research-compound and telehealth channels. Our interest is narrow and specific: what is actually in the vial, whether the label is accurate, and whether the sellers of it can document what they claim. We take no position on whether anyone should use it.
