Helix Research Supply BPC-157: content discrepancy in PI-LAB-2025-0002

Helix Research Supply's BPC-157 came back with a discrepancy, specimen PI-LAB-2025-0002 if you want to look at it yourself.

Purity was actually fine at 94.2%. The problem is the amount, 9.1mg measured against 10mg on the label. Which is the kind of thing a purity-only COA sails straight past.

Has anyone else bought from this lot? Trying to work out if it's just this batch or something broader.

Mass spec gives you molecular weight, which confirms identity but says nothing about whether the sequence is correct. Two different peptides can share a mass.

This is probably obvious to everyone else but I had no idea any of this was even tested independently.

Exactly right.

Worth adding that this only holds for lyophilised product.

Try the search on the testing database rather than the main search. Different index, catches specimen IDs.

Not accusing anyone of anything, I just do not think a number means much until you can see what is behind it.

This exact discussion happens every six months and lands in the same place. Not complaining, just noting it.
