Cold-chain shipping study: temperature logging across 12 suppliers

We shipped temperature loggers with orders from every indexed company. Summer transit told a clear story.

Alongside our purity program, we placed temperature loggers in orders from all twelve indexed companies during peak summer. Three companies’ packages stayed under 25°C throughout transit; four exceeded 40°C for more than six hours.

The correlation with packaging was almost perfect: insulated packaging with cold packs held temperature, padded envelopes did not. Fulfillment scoring now incorporates packaging methodology as a direct input.
