Overview

Tesamorelin is an FDA-approved growth-hormone-releasing hormone analog (Egrifta) indicated for excess abdominal fat in HIV-associated lipodystrophy. Its approval pathway gives it one of the stronger evidence bases among GH-axis peptides, and phase 3 data showed selective visceral adipose reduction.
